Internet Strangers Prove to Little Boy that Awesome People Wear Glasses

Like most little kids, 4-year-old Noah Fisher wasn't happy when he was told he had to start wearing glasses. He broke down crying, and was worried that all his friends would laugh at his altered appearance. That's when his parents - and hundreds of strangers on the Internet - stepped in to prove to Noah that glasses should be worn with pride.

The tyke's parents, Lindsey and Cole Fisher, wanted to show their son that lots of cool people wear glasses. They started a Facebook page called "Glasses for Noah," and asked people to post photos of them wearing their frames.

Since the page first went live on October 9, it has garnered over 36,000 likes, and has filled up with hundreds of messages of support and photos of other glasses-wearers - including men, women, teens and other kids Noah's age - proudly showing off their bespectacled faces. There are also tons of photos of fictional characters, from Harry Potter to Superman, sporting glasses.

"It was very humbling to see how the community took time out of their day to post a picture of themselves for a little boy that half of them don't even know," Lindsey told USA Today.

Noah has seen all of the photos, and all the amazing support has helped him learn to love his new accessory. Plus, he looks super handsome in those black frames!
