Toss Out Your Tweezers—Bold Brows are In!

Have you noticed that makeup artists this season are throwing out the fine tweezers in favor of giving their models thicker, more naturally shaped eyebrows? We're not talking unibrows, we’re talking bold beauty.

The thick brow trend is everywhere at Fashion Week for the Spring 2010 collections, which may give waxers something to worry about now that the meticulously manicured look is falling by the wayside.

We caught up with makeup artist Landy Dean to find out how to get bold eyebrows without stepping into the salon.

Let these lovely ladies inspire you to make the natural look your own.

I wish my brows would grow. From all the years of plucking, and aging now thyroids disease I'm lucky I have anything left. A note to those who have them ,just clean them up a little then leave em alone. Natural brows are the best.

I disagree. I think it depends on your face shape and how big your features are. If you have a shorter forehead (kind of like I do), thinned out, groomed brows give my face a much neater look. Too much brow tends to drown out the rest of my features. Bushy brows don't work for everyone.

This season? Am I wrong, or have the fashion powers that be been talking about fuller brows for years now?

I've never plucked, waxed, tweezed or done anything to my eyebrows except to comb them into place. I've just never seen the point for me, they are well shaped and not overgrown. Most people assume I do somethig to them and are shocked to find out I never have. I prefer the natural look when it eyebrows.

Look at Jennifer Connelly. She has always had fuller eyebrows and I think she's beautiful! I just clean mine up a bit and thats it!
