...well i was going to put the waitresses but that has been done for me...good job...and i loooove how christmas in hollis is now a classic...ive never been a rap fan but i love anything from the golden age of rap and somehow it never feels like christmas if i dont hear it...

I love "All I want for Christmas is you", it's such a fun song to sing along with in the car! I've always loved John Lennon's "Happy Christmas (War is Over)" song, but I had never seen the "video", which brought me to tears. Also I had forgotten about the Band Aid "Do They Know it's Christmas" song. Thank you for including these two and reminding me about others in need who have lives far worse than mine, whether due to war, poverty, famine, or whatever. I'll remember that next time I want to complain because we can't afford a "big" Christmas this year. (I have my family, my home, food, shelter, decent income, and much more!). But all those images of the children and the suffering and the dead in the war-torn countries makes me wish more than ever for PEACE.

My family has always been a bit on the unconventional side, picking Bruce over Bing any day. I grew up listening to cassette tape recordings of the A Very Special Christmas album and assumed it was completely normal. Then I went away to college and downloaded it for myself, only to find that none of my friends had ever heard of it! They're such fun songs though. I still look forward to putting them on each year.
