No, you're not on the ranch. Bob has a few words of wisdom about how much weight you should be losing at home.
Biggest Loser trainers reveal below two of their favorite moves for flattening your abs--no matter what your fitness level.
- Get off balance
Anytime you're on an unstable surface--and therefore trying to balance-- you're developing your core strength.
- Suck it in
Very motivated contestants wanted to work on their abs even when they weren't working out! One trick: Constantly pull your stomach in to work your transverse abdominis, the deepest layer of muscle in your core.

Report AbuseI was drastically overweight and I lost 100 pounds in around 11 months. Yes, I know that it was a bit too much at once but when I changed my diet and exercise, I kept it off (for over a year now...ok...I gained 10 lbs but I took it off immediately). I used Weight Watchers point system. I started walking and using a cardio video (alternating). I lost 6 dress sizes and I have so much energy. I know that a lot of people don't like to count points and watch everything they eat but it is really worth it. I cut out all sodas and drank nothing but water (I did drink some juice but remember to calculate your points accordingly). I didn't starve myself like most popular diets. I ate pretty well. I would highly recommend this diet to anyone...it works wonders but you have to stick with it.

Report AbuseI lost 200lbs in about 18 months by walking everywhere and eating only when I was hungry and stopping eating when I was satisfied but not full. I also completely cut out fast food and full-calorie sodas. One more trick I used was to make my diet coke flat beore I drank it (bought bottles and shook 'em then opened very carefully) so the bubbles wouldn't expand and make me think I was hungry when I wasn't. Sounds like a lot of hassle, but it was worth it to go from a size 28 to a 10!
