The producers of NBC’s The Biggest
Loser know I am a huge fan of the show, so they invited
me to spend some private time with uber-trainer Bob
Harper at the ranch last week.
Wowzah, he is something special! After
the sweat-fest, he shared a few tips on starting off 2009 on the
right foot (so to speak):
Bob’s tips are super-duper logical and easy to incorporate into your life, but here they are in case you want to print them:
1) Breakfast is critical, especially before you work out.
2) Eat lots of small meals – every 4 hours is ideal; you have to eat if you want to lose weight.
3) Drink lots of water, it kicks your metabolism into gear.
4) Be sure YOU are your own #1 priority.
If you’re like me, and you want MORE of Bob in your life, there are several options:
- Bob’s book just came out in paperback. I got it last spring in hardcover, it is chock-full of great tips… I no longer eat bread in restaurants, and I always have a salad first when I eat out.
- Watch The Biggest Loser on NBC on Tuesday nights (8 / 7C). It’s one of the best reality shows on TV.
