Octuplet obsession: A state medical board investigation, the names of the babies, and photos of where the octuplets will live
editor
It's been a busy weekend
in octuplet obsession land. We're all still talking about
the many questions we all have related to their birth;
their mom, Nadya Suleman; and
the idea of being addicted to having kids.
But more news abounds. Here's the latest:
- Suleman was interviewed by Ann
Curry of NBC's "Today Show." (Part two
of the interview will air on Tuesday.) She showed off her
babies, who are all beautiful and adorable, and for the love of
Pete, my ovaries ache just seeing them (but not enough to have more
babies). She also shares their names.
Watch it. Tell me what you think.
- One columnist from Time.com wonders if we
should call a truce on Suleman and "let this
woman work out her very challenging circumstances without our
vitriol making it any harder. The decisions we make about parenting
are some of the most personal of our lives; these houses are all
made of glass, and I'm not sure how many of us could withstand
this level of incoming fire."
I'm worn out just reading all about it.

I live in Whittier, a few blocks from where this crazy person's parent's live. It's a little bitty 3 bedroom home, not well kept and that's probably because the g-parents are trying to raise her other children!!! Good Christ what a huge, gigantic mess. I for one passed on "donating" anything to this idiot.

I really don't think that it is anyones business. In none of the interviews did Nadya say that she intended to have 8 children. Read between the lines. Yes, she loves children but I am pretty sure neither her nor her doctor anticipated octuplets. WOW! Here's an idea, help her instead of condemming her choices.

Is this woman using her disability monies to pay for this latest round of IVF ?? Shouldnt she be socking it way and/or using it to give the existing children a better place to live ??

This women is obviously crazy! Why the hell would anyone have 14 kids! Intentional or unintentional! What a stupid, irresponsible person to bring all those kids in on her parents, then talk about them bad on TV!

I thought it was quite amusing? that this mother was able to get her nails done for the interview with Anne Curry, meanwhile her 6 kids at home have a bed sheet on their bedroom window for a curtain. Selfish... Spend the $40 on your kids... not your nails... am I the only one that noticed that in all the clips of the interview? Am I out of line for thinking that way?
And her lips CANNOT be real, right??

Lol, Nini Poo! You're absolutely right about those nails! Someone who's willing to spend money on getting her nails done instead of buying NECESSITIES for her 14 CHILDREN is telling us pretty much everything we need to know about her.
I watched the interview. She admitted that she stopped caring about what her children wanted and what was good for them. She only cares what she wants. And what she wants is attention.
She should be ashamed by the way her children are living. She should be ashamed that she has left their grandmother to care for them under those conditions. She should be ashamed that she continues to LIE and say that she isn't recieving government assistance when she's recieving DISABILITY and that's what disability is! She should be investigated for fraud.
If she weren't attention whoring to every media outlet that will have her, I would say that people should mind their own business. However, she WANTS this attention. She brought it on herself. It's very sad for the children, but the best thing that could happen to them is to be taken away from her.

Your thinking is why our nation is going down the tubes.
"Let people choose to do whatever they damn well please and the rest of us will just pay for it"
If this chick is using my government's money, then me and my government get a say.
