[paint-by-numbers via Apartment Therapy]
Other ways to dress up your walls, on Shine:
Turn family portraits (or just favorite snapshots) into bold wall art
What to do when what lies beneath (three layers of wallpaper) is truly frightening
Cute wall-mounted magnetic bulletin boards seem like more play than work

Report AbuseOf course! And I love the modern style of pet painting featured in the photo. In fact, I have painted my own pet portraits in similar style and have all four proudly displayed in my living room! I guess if I could learn how to paint people just as well as animals I could do a painting of my kid too. But people are harder to paint.

Report AbuseI have two Poodles, they are sisters. I have pictures of them in the living room. I would hang a portrait of them. My husband has promised to paint one. Our two pups are very much a part of our family.

Report AbuseI have been thinking about having a portrait done of my favorite dog but haven't done it. I was concerned that some would think I had totally flipped! Now I have the courage to have one commissioned. I love my little Max. She's my best buddy. Thanks. ♥ ∞

Report AbuseMy mother doesn't have grand kids yet so her camera is full of pictures of her two yorkies. Sometimes she has a picture of me or my brother and his girlfriend, but we still add the dogs in the picture. My future sister in law and I took the pups down to Olan Mills and had a group picture made. Those dogs are family! If you have a dog that you went and picked out, how can you not love them?
Besides, go on ebay and run a search on your favorite dog breed. There's millions of folks who feel the same way I do. :)
