Pretty In Pink: Celebs who are inspiring us to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Kylie Minogue in Dolce & Gabanna
After the Australian pop star was diagnosed in 2005, she underwent surgery and chemotherapy, which she was quoted as saying was like "experiencing a nuclear bomb." France's cultural minister has referred to the "Kylie effect," which saw young women start doing regular breast checks. We're glad she's healthy now, and radiant as ever like at Cannes this year in this gorgeous pink satin Dolce dress with a floral belt.

Report AbuseI wish companies weren't using breast cancer to sell products. Seems like anyone can slap a pink ribbon on a product, say they'll donate chump change from your purchase, and people will lap it up. It's a devastating and deadly disease, and I can't help but wonder if this is more of a breast cancer business to increase profits and pump up PR than good intentions. As for Komen and others, maybe if their execs weren't making so much money, I'd support them.
Do your homework and research the percentage of money from donations that actually GOES DIRECTLY TO THE CAUSE.

Report AbuseAnn Taylor Loft is selling a new bracelet that is 24.50, very cute and stylish. It was worn by Taylor Swift and some ofter celb's. 5 dollars of that are donated and there is a new card that can be purchased for 25$. You can use that card to get 20% off of any purchase over 100$ or more and 20% of what you spend will be donated as well.
Oh and sun2go last year Ann Taylor Loft gave over One Million dollars to charity.

Report Abuseany donation - no matter how big our small - is a donation. Any corporation that is willing to assit in donating is a good one, sun2go!
Research needs anything that it can get - and if that means $0.10 from a $1.00 candy bar I will buy that one over any others.
Thank you to every man, woman, and child who supports The Cause!
My family truly appreciates it!
