Wigging Out With Wendy Williams

Everything about Wendy Williams is larger than life, especially her hair or should we say her hair(s). We visited Wendy in her pink and zebra dressing
room to talk wardrobe and wigs! She showed us her full collection. You’ll never guess how much one of her trademark blonde wigs costs.

Wendy was still taping her show when we arrived so we got to hang out in her hot pink dressing room—love it. Her wardrobe was stocked with pieces she’s looking forward to wearing this Fall including lots and lots of animal print stilettos

Across from her makeup chair, there was a shelf lined with wigs—some with perfectly set waves, some with Farrah-like wings— and when Wendy arrived she told us all about them. She has a total of fourteen! They're custom-made and each one costs about $2500.

Even when she’s not taping, you’ll never see Wendy without a wig. If she's at home, or hitting the grocery store, she'll just throw on a more causal piece— a “street” wig, as she calls it. She says she finds taking care of her wigs "relaxing", and often sews on extensions herself.

In person, Wendy is exactly the same as she is on screen. Hilarious and super high energy. She gave us an awesome “How you doin'?” and then rushed off to the gym to get in a workout— with her "gym" wig, of course.

Maybe if she hadn't worn wigs every day for the last 10 years, as she said, she wouldn't need to wear wigs now. Also, she has proved that with enough money you can buy different hair for every day of the week. ... and that there's not enough money in the world to buy CLASS.

LOVE HER!!!!! I'm very excited that you explain about purchasing WIGS!!!!! I do not wear wigs, but i wear weaves. LLLOOOVVVEEE Weave!!! Wendy you are right, you have to take care of it. You want the wig to look natural as possible. People think when you wear wigs or weave, oh you can do whatever, NO; wearing either the 2 (WIG OR WEAVE)! IT'S A MUST TO TAKE CARE OF IT. there are many ways to take care a wig or weave just goggle (how to take care of wig or weave).

Wendy is starting to grow on me like her variety of wigs which I love the wavy one the best. Even though she says she has to remind people she has big breast, I feel she looks the best in outfits that don't enhance them like this purple outfit with a nice necklace. Being a lady goes there instead of like the lime green shiny outfit she wore on the show where it seemed like the top was fitted to surround them. It was worst than a tight skirt and all you could focus on was the boobs instead of her bubbling personality. At first it was hard to distinguish her from Rue Paul. Love her guest and her talk about the stars without trashing them.

you know what is funny and sad , she looks so fake with them on.

i mean how can anyone believe that a typical full black would have hair like that.

    that is just sad
