Strawberry Daiquiri

Average calories: 220 to 320

This blender drink is usually made with light rum, lime juice, sugar or sugar syrup, and frozen strawberries. Strawberry schnapps or triple sec can also be added.

Lighten it up: Cut out the added sugar, strawberry schnapps, or triple sec, and limit the rum to 1 ounce. Skip any whipped cream topping. If the drink isn't sweet enough, add a packet of zero-calorie sweetener to taste.

What I love: Kicking back with a refreshing libation after a long, hard week.

    They should've included mojitos. Rum, teaspoon of sugar, lime juice, club soda and mint leaves. VERY low calorie and VERY refreshing!!!

    The thing to do is have a Daiquiri Saturday or Friday. And any one would be welcome. You could do it with family or sisters, girlfriends, guyfriends anyone. And just dish the dirt and chill. A must have dip and chips. Or quesadillas. Finger licking good food. LOL!
