Can Guys Use Self Tanner?
partner
My guy friend said his
skin was blinding pasty, and he needed to do something about it
before hitting the beach. Putting my beauty-editor hat on, I
suggested he try
one of these self tanners (since no self-respecting beauty
editor would recommend tanning in the sun or a booth --
the damage!).
Unfortunately, my suggestion was met with a burst of laughter and a
claim that he'd "rather fry in the sun than use that
stuff." Why? "Because if I did it wrong and you could see
orange streaks, then people would
know."
While images of these tangerine-hued celebs came to mind, I
still tried to assure him that with
these foolproof tips, it's totally possible to use self
tanner without anyone suspecting. Sadly, I was unable to convince
him. Taking off the beauty-editor hat, I realized maybe it
is just too weird.
What do you think? Is it OK for guys to use self tanner or should
we mock these artificially bronzed specimens?

why not? its not just for women but!!!! i think that if a man has a hairy body it might not go on as good as it does on women. So I guess it depends.

Absolutely! Why shouldn't men be able to look great all year round and still be safe. Skin Cancer isn't just a "women's disease"! We need to protect our men as well. Men, go for it! A self tanner isn't like wearing make up. And there are some formulas that really look natural. It's today's healthy way to get tanned, for everyone! Besides, a healthy, tanned body always makes me take a second look! Right ladies!

Do any of those products not have that awful smell?? (You know the one I mean.) Seems like the odor lasts longer than the tan...
