5 Fashion Things to Know This Month

It's a new month, which means a new issue of Glamour-and our most fashionable at that! (Did you see Diane Kruger sizzling on our March 2011 cover?!) So, in honor of all things stylish, here's the hottest news that has our editors buzzing, straight from the Glamour fashion closet. We call this our chic sheet!

    1. Tom Ford Is Everywhere
The former Gucci and YSL designer has released his first women's collection in seven years, and we're swooning. It ain't cheap, but this stuff is made for the red carpet-especially this awards season. Mila, Halle, Beyoncé-call him!

    2. Flatforms Are Back!
The flat platforms are kind of love-'em-or-hate-'em. But we're voting love after seeing the ones at Chanel, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Derek Lam. And guess who started it all? Vivienne Westwood, whose iconic eighties boots, above, are displayed at the Fashion Institute of Technology this month. Zeitgeist!

    3. One Color: Coral, Coral, Coral
Attention, shoppers! Pantone, the color people, announced 16-1349 (Coral Rose) as one of the fashion colors for spring (others include Regatta and Beeswax). After spotting it at Marc Jacobs, above, Marni and Mulberry, we couldn't agree more.

    4. Ballet Is Big
The Swan Lake costumes those brilliant Rodarte sisters designed for the film Black Swan have made spring's ballet trend even huger. And we're twirling with joy. So romantic and so easy to wear. (Flats! Flowy skirts! Wrap tops! Ah!)

    5. Mick's Daughter's Jeans Are Cute
Georgia May Jagger says her sexy new line (check out the lacing!) was inspired by childhood photos of her mom, model Jerry Hall, riding horseback. Sweet.

Which of this month's need-to-know fashion news tidbits gets you most excited? Which color or style can you simply not wait to wear?
