Nail polish is a great way to wear a frenzy of different colors that we otherwise would not be able to pull off as an eyeshadow or a lipstick. The spring nail collections are our favorite because the palettes are a refreshing change from the winter's dark colors. Here are our top five picks for a gorgeous spring mani/pedi. Care and Technique
To prolong your manicure's duration and to keep it chip-free, create a smooth surface by buffing away nail ridges with a 4-Way Nail Shaper. Apply a base coat to prevent the polish from staining your nails and to also give the color something to stick to. Next, layer on two thin coats of color and finish with a top coat. (The thicker the coat of polish is, the more likely it will chip off.) We recommend Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment Base and Top Coat.
