8 Celebs Who Swear by Spanx

Katy Perry recently sang the praises of Spanx, reminding me that a.) Celebs really are just like us! and b.) the brand has more than a few famous fans. Wondering who else keeps svelte courtesy of the must-have shapewear?

1. Octavia Spencer She famously told Ellen DeGeneres she was "triple Spanx-ing" at the SAG Awards in 2011. "Ohhh, Ellen. Let me tell you, I could not party that night, because I was being pinched in places I didn't know it was possible," she said.

2. Adele The singer will see Octavia's triple-threat and raise her one: At the Grammy Awards in June, she told the New York Post, "I had three or four pairs of Spanx on that night but I loved it."

3. Kelly Osbourne "Even if you're a skinny girl, Spanx are a must," she said to the Daily News. "Nobody wants to see your belly button through your dress."

4. Kim Kardashian The famously curvy reality star called Spanx "the greatest invention" on a UK talk show last summer.

5. Tyra Banks "You put 'em on, it sucks you up, baby," the supermodel says. "No matter what red carpet, I got 'em on. I look like a granny before I put the dress on, but I put on the dress, and it's like, 'palow!'"

6. Carrie Underwood When People StyleWatch asked her to fill in this blank--"the key to my red carpet style is..."--she answered, "A stylist and Spanx!"

7. Jessica Alba "I wore Spanx under my Fantastic Four costume," she 'fessed up a while back. "I love them!"

8. Gwyneth Paltrow Yes, even the queen of clean living relies on shapewear to amp up her already-fabulous bod. After the birth of daughter Apple, she said she wore two pairs at a time: "They just squeeze you in. It's terrific! That's how all the Hollywood girls do it!"
