1. SEXY BLACK CAT-
A.K.A. the unofficial backup costume of every woman. "It's foolproof," says makeup artist Ashleigh Ciucci. "You can't mess up a cat." But what you can do is add a little more flavor with expertly applied cat-eyes.
1: Use a black waterproof eyeliner pencil to draw a dot on the tip of your nose and whiskers on your cheeks. (Three or four evenly spaced lines angling out from the bulb of your nose should do.)
2: Use a liquid eyeliner to trace a thin strip along your upper lash line, extending the color out slightly at the corners for a cat-eye effect. Try Smashbox Limitless Liquid Liner Pen in Jet Black. "It has a fine point, and the formula is already mixed to the best consistency," says Ciucci.
3: Apply a baby pink lip color.
EXTRAS: You'll need ears and a tail for this otherwise spartan costume. If the costume shop looks overrun, try the drugstore; they'll usually have them.
