    A wedding dress made out of cupcakes!

    DC CupcakesDC CupcakesFancy gowns and sugary sweets are two of our favorite things, so major kudos to baking siblings Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne for pairing this duo together to create a delicious edible wedding gown.

    You may or may not already be familiar with TLC's trendy dessert show, "DC Cupcakes," but each week features a new challenge for the sisters and co-owners of Georgetown Cupcake as they run their business and must meet the demands of their clients. They've completed dozens of cool cupcake projects for businesses, weddings, and fundraisers, and even baked and frosted thousands of scrumptious treats in a single day.

    In tonight's episode, the bakers have been commissioned to design a wedding dress! An edible dress covered in cupcakes! Mmm. How the bride will actually wear-or dare we suggest, dance-in this creation has yet to be determined, but there's no doubt in our minds her wedding guests will also be enjoying the tasty garment. Tune in to "DC Cupcakes" tonight at 10 p.m. ET (9 p.m. CT) to watch!

      To Yankeelover.............Yeah there is something wrong with you as an "adult" calling your parents "mommy and daddy". IT IS CALLED GROW THE F UP!! How pathetic that you even try to justify something so totally nauseating! You probably always play the victim as well, we all know your type, on at least one antidepressant because life is 'just to hard'. Again totally pathetic and you make us SICK!!!!!!

      Right there with you, Avery. They're half cake and half frosting, and the frosting is so rich it will actually make you sick if you eat a whole cupcake. Cakelove on U Street is much better.

      I have been there.... not impressed at all. I have been to Sprinkles cupcakes in LA and those were really good so I thought they might be comparable but they were simple, expensive and didn't have too much flavor. I never went back, not worth the wait in line or the amount you will spend.

      I hate thier show. They are the most annoying people on television! I want to scream through the screen "Grow UP!" They are like attention seeking 7 year-olds!

      Maybe you should have told the people that own the cupcake place in Georgetown Avery
      That way they could change the way the cupcakes are made

      Kris: What is wrong with calling your mother "Mommy?" I still call my mother "Mommy" even though I'm in college. There's nothing wrong with it, nor is calling your Dad, "Daddy." It's a name for a parent and it serves it purpose.

      Avery- interesting, I've never tried Georgetown Cupcakes, but in NYC Magnolia Cupcakes is the hotspot (they were on "Sex and the City") and people line up for them, but I've always found them to be just as you describe: dense and the frosting is too sweet.

      That said, I love when people use foreign materials to make clothing... kind of like those challenges on "Project Runway." Working with food items must be tricky!

      I hate the DC Cupcakes show! Grown women calling their mother "Mommy" is pathetic (yes I know they're Canadian expats and things are different, but it still sickens me). Plus cupcakes don't impress me one bit - seriously, I'd rather have an awesome cookie or doughnut.
