    "American Pie" Fashion Flashback

This weekend "American Pie: Reunion" opens -- and like all reunions, you can expect a lot of change. For example, the ladies of the original "American Pie" have undergone plenty of style transformations in the last 13 years. Let's take a look back on their fashion and hair choices throughout the past decade …

    Mena Suvari

Mena Suvari hit the big time in 1999 with the release of both "American Pie" and "American Beauty." Though her fashion style hasn't changed much over the years -- she usually appears on the red carpet in beautiful gowns -- her hair has. Her trademark long, strawberry blonde hair soon gave way to heavy Barbie bangs, and a wavy brown bob. But nothing compared to what came next. In 2007, Suvari shaved her head for a "movie role," and a few years later, she reappeared with a frizzy, black 'do, earning her a spot on our list of "Worst Hair of 2011." (You can check out that entire article here.)

Luckily, Suvari pulled it back together. At the "American Pie: Reunion" premiere, she showed up with side swept bangs and a gorgeous updo. (To recreate a similar hairstyle, click here.) And as always, her dress was as beautiful as ever.

    Tara Reid

We're not gonna lie, it hasn't been a great decade for Tara Reid. In "American Pie," she was the smart and sexy girlfriend -- and her adorableness lasted for maybe a year after the movie. But then, Reid was photographed too often in trashy club clothes, usually drunk and/or falling down. After a stint in rehab, Reid had that whole plastic surgery fiasco, and the hugest red carpet nip slip to date.

So, we were holding our breath when Reid arrived on the red carpet for "American Pie: Reunion." Can you say beyond surprised? She looked gorgeous and glam in a white floor-length dress and a slicked back ponytail. (To recreate a similar hairstyle, click here.)

    Alyson Hannigan

Alyson Hannigan, the seemingly naive flute player in "American Pie," has always had that girl-next-door look down pat. Even when she moved onto "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer," Hannigan still stuck to loose knee length dresses, and her trademark bright red hair. But, when she landed the role of Lily on "How I Met Your Mother," Hannigan's style definitely got a revamp. So when she recently appeared on the red carpet, we knew she would wow. Expecting her second child, Hannigan dazzled in a clingy bold red beaded dress.

Now that we've revisited the three "American Pie" ladies, we want to know: Which "American Pie" actress looks the best now? Leave your answer in the comment section below.
