We already had the highest of hopes for Austin Mahone's debut album-so much so that he was included it in our very short list of the most anticipated releases this year. But now that we've heard his newest single, he's shot straight to the top. Even better, the song's a collaboration with the omnipresent Pitbull, who's featured on, oh, 67% of today's chart-topping tracks. This bodes well for Austin's new "MMM Yeah."
Like his most recent hit, "Banga Banga," this one is a total, well, banger. "MMM Yeah," which dropped today, is a club-ready dance jam with major hip hop vibes that you seriously won't be able to get out of your head after one listen. Not that you'll mind!
Yesterday, we hosted a Twitter chat with the singer and he had this to say about the collab: "Ah, Pitbull is amazing! Nicest guy and he has so much energy in the studio!" As for the track, he promised it would be "fun and upbeat. Pitbull kills his verse as always." And you know what? Dude wasn't lying. We can enthustiastically confirm that it's both fun and upbeat-though Austin has never released music that wasn't both of those things, and that's why we love him.
Give it a listen! The song isn't available to purchase until Monday (why, Austin, why?), but you can pre-order on iTunes stat.
