Bringing Sexy Back and Workin' It!!!

Why does getting dressed for work have to be such a drag? I mean, like seriously, how many twinsets can you possibly wear with those slacks and jeans? How many sleeveless turtlenecks and boatneck tops can you muster your sweet soul up to pair with some capri's and a blazer? Bringing Sexy Back to work can be done in 3 easy steps without getting called in to HR for indecent exposure:

    1. Face Time: Trade in the 10 minutes you use in the morning figuring out what to wear for taking care of your face and bringing out the beauty in its features: Get a facial (exfoliate, cleanse, tone and moisturize). If you do not wear make-up, applying some Oh Baby or Sinnamon lipglass or lip lustre by MAC will add some sheer sexy to your lips. Some liquid liner over the top lid and some mascara to separate and add volume and length to lashes will add some intense sexy to your clean face. Eyebrow shapes and arches give a great contour and topline for a bright, summery shade of eyeshadow.

    2. Trade up: Trade in your twinsets and sleeveless turtlenecks for cotton and silk button-down blouses, short sleeve or sleeveless v-neck sweaters, white and denim blazers. Invest in a really nice, all-season wool blend black skirt. It is usually durable and cut well- so it will fit well. For summer, also invest in a white pant suit. Any silk scoop neck in pink, white or coral will pair well. Dont forget the shoes. Dr. Scholl's gel inserts really do work!!

    3. Work It: Some companies have a program for staying healthy and offers membership or reimbursement for gym memberships for employees. If not, join a gym or just get busy working out your assets. One secret is to get-in on some of the trial periods at gyms like Bally's andCrunch and vow to work out for the full time the passes are available. You can extend these opportunities by a couple of weeks by choosing three or four clubs in the city and asking for an exploratory work-out at their gyms. In the end it is good to choose a gym where you are comfortable and able to enjoy working out. Or check your local park district for a fitness class at a deal.
