Can you buy Cate Blanchett's skin?
Okay, you all know how I feel about celebrity endorsements and all, and normally this wouldn't impress me much but SK-II recently released Cate's Essentials Collection, a trio of Cate Blanchett's supposed must-have products, and I like it. Frankly, I could take or leave the fact that Cate uses them, but I do like it when anti-aging skincare regimens like this one are handily mapped out for me, and heck, let's face it: Cate Blanchett does have awfully beautiful skin and swears in public that she actually does use SK-II (and acknowledges that she gets sent all kinds of crap but this is it for her), so...
Believe that or not, but the total package includes Facial Treatment Essence, a kind of perfect skin inducing tonic; Facial Treatment Repair C, a super concentrated wunderkind; and the Facial Treatment Mask, an intense moisture maker. All contain the restorative Pitera, derived from yeast fermentation, which is the company's trademark ingredient--besides Cate, that is.
