So beach season starts this weekend, which means in about 1.75 days you might be walking around half naked for the first time in about 8 months. Is this as horrifying to you as it is me? Seriously, there's much to do and very little time to do it. I guess we should start with, well, the hair. The hair that's everywhere.
Now the question becomes: How to take it off? My experience with waxing has been about as bad as Steve Carell's in 40 year-old Virgin (except at least his hair removal session didn't require getting on all fours). And, yes, I have tried Nair and found the entire process so repulsive and toxic-seeming, if I never smell burning, chemical smell again it will be too soon. So, I do what our foremothers have done and I shave. And it's fine. I use a Schick Quattro and just water and I never have any problems. But it also feels like I spend half of my summer shaving. Is there a better way? What do you guys do?
