Exciting news! We caught up with designer - and San Francisco native - Derek Lam, when he made a quick stop at Barneys SF for his Spring '11 trunk show. First we talked inspiration, then Derek revealed his love of "the tomboy", and how "the iconography of Clint Eastwood and the West" played into designing his Fall line. Next up, the designer revealed he's getting excited about an upcoming project for his Fall '11 collection, a presentation of lower-priced looks to be sold exclusively on eBay.
