We have so much love for
makeup artists and their talent, but forget about achieving the
perfect smoky eye for a minute. 21-year-old artist Katie Alves is a
Disney fan with a steady hand and a whole lot of patience. She has created a number of extremely detailed makeup looks on her own eyelids which pay tribute to some of her favorite Disney moments. Yes, on her own eyes! That means she’s constantly working with teeny brushes and one eye closed. Obviously we’ve become obsessed with her and her blog.
The first photo above depicts "Aladdin." Here's what Alves wrote about her design: "Uggghhh! This thing was HARD! This took me much longer than usual. Everything looks a little mutated, but I couldn't make it much better. The only thing I'm happy with is that... golden... bug thingy. That took forever!"
