Dress code for the royal wedding: uniforms, morning coats, lounge suits, and hats

just go easy for some of you. they were only dressed in formal wear for an important wedding! Prince Harry has become a stunning good looking young man, His mom must have been so proud. The British tailors are definitely very meticulous in their craftmenship. Their jackets etc just fit right unlike the sloppy joe type of khahi pants we r so used to wearing and could do without. Oops for a while we might think putting on a blazer and a pairs of khaki would make us look like American royals. Too bad.

Dear, Dear, what a bunch of whinging moaning people on here, the reason the anti british President of the USA wasn't invited is because IT ISN'T TECHNICALLY A STATE OCCASION and William is only second in line to the throne! I personally will enjoy watching the whole ceremony!

I do like their fashion sense. I've always loved hats like those, the ones that flatter a woman's head. And the whole dress code doesn't seem that bad at all. Tailored suits and things are nice to have, just too expensive for most people on a daily basis, and I do wish the two the best. I'm not going to say they look like Lovebirds for Life, because every other wedding has begun like that, but if Will can stay faithful to Kate, they'll last.

For all the really rude comments: if they still have an archaic system in place because they want it, fine. It shouldn't be a critical matter for the US or anyone else. I personally think it's really f*cked up to honor a family because of their genetic history of heavily inbred individuals who fought with ancient kings, popes and our early colonists. They've had this MP system for at least 200 years that oversees all of their national purposes, so why the this royal ritual stuff? However, it serves some special sense of heritage/culture that they can relate to. As long as the English folks want it, fine.

And I'm fine with Obama not being invited. It's not a state event thing. Heck, do we invite them for every presidential nuptials deal? It really shouldn't matter.

I think it is ashame they are spending so much money on a wedding. There are people starving in that country why not use it for them. The rich don't care about the middle class and poor. As a white woman, I'd say if you've attended any African-American church service on Sundays within the last 55-65 years, you've seen Kate Middleton's style. Has been this way before Kate Middleton was ever born. Not saying that African American women created the style, but they sure do know how to make it look good. I don't need to awe and oooh over people from another country. Give credit where credit is due. Charity and Love starts at home. Those people could care less about Americans. They think we're trash.
