If you walk into any store, chances are you'll be bombarded by a ton of animal print. So there's no question that it's become a huge trend. But why? We asked ourselves the same question and got the following results.

The debate:
Jane: It's uber loud, trendy, and it makes a statement -- you just have to know how to wear it the right way.
Alexis: I agree. I loooove leopard print, because it never goes out of style and always looks fresh. I pretty much buy anything with leopard print. However, snakeskin is definitely not for me. It just looks a little cheap, in my opinion.
Sarah: It's fine on the runway or in small (like, really small) doses, but c'mon -- don't you think it looks tacky and cheesy almost every time you see it in real life?
Alexis: What?! You're crazy. [Alexis adjusts her leopard headband.] less
Let me start by telling you a little bit about the editors on the Beauty Riot team. We're three girls with three very different styles:
Sarah is the adventurous one (you might remember her as the editor who let her boyfriend dress her for a week). Brave, right?
Alexis wears a lot of black and believes in the ugly/pretty philosophy, especially when it comes to fashion. (FYI, the ugly/pretty philosophy is when an item is so ugly that it becomes pretty. Kinda like these fashions.)
And I (Jane) love all things girly and polished. I'm not really a risk-taker, so I tend to stick to more of the classic trends like this one.
