Net-A-Porter.comWhile we're not huge fans of the Herve Leger bandage dress, tummy cutouts, or spending $1,050 on swimwear, we're sure there are people out there willing to buy this Herve Leger bandage bathing suit. Although... it's not really a bathing suit, because you can't get it wet! Seriously. Here's the item description per Net-a-Porter.com:
"With a daring cutout front, Hervé Léger's violet and orange bandage sunsuit is sure to make a splash by the pool. Pair this sensational style with shorts and oversized shades for the ultimate in getaway glamour. To get the best from your Hervé Léger beachwear we advise you do not wear it in water."
So this one-piece swimsuit will be only making a metaphorical splash. When it's hot out and you're stuck gazing longingly at that pretty blue water in the pool, be sure no beads of sweat drip down your face or back onto this "sunsuit" either because, you know, it may self destruct when it gets wet!
If you actually plan to take a dip, Net-a-Porter suggests Melissa Odabash's crystal and bead-embellished white cutout swimsuit for the much more reasonable price of $805. Or you could grab up one of these cute swimsuits for under $30. Either/or.
