Who wears short shorts: not Jessica Simpson-
This past Friday you may have noticed people showing a little more thigh. It was officially No Pants Day, a goofball holiday celebrated annually, the first Friday of May, by pranksters around the world who crave a little over-exposure.

But that's not the explanation for Jessica Simpson's bottomless look this past weekend. For her, every day is no pants day. Blame the rise of leggings on an increasingly acceptable lack of shorts and skirts over the past few years. As more women got comfortable calling tights and a shirt an outfit, fewer layers were outfitting our lower-half. Out went the mini-skirts, and on went the nylons. But now that it's almost summer, the tights are coming off too.
