Find The Best Lipstick For Your Skin Tone
I found "The One." That's right. It has taken countless flings, many makeout sessions, and 20-something years, but this time it's for real. We met at a beauty event (go figure!), but it wasn't until later that night that I knew. Its name is Pago Pago and it's made by NARS. I have finally found my lipstick.
To save you many frustrating years of searching for your ideal lipstick, I decided to do a little research via MAC Senior Artist John Stapleton. So, what's the trick to finding your perfect shade? It turns out that your skin tone is a good indicator of what lipstick looks best on you (as you can see here). And if anyone knows lipstick it's John, who has seen a bazillion shades over his entire career. (Really, a bazillion.) Plus, he has some great suggestions no matter how fair or how dark your skin is.
