I use most of these products daily. The best is a jar of sugar with lemon juice mix. It has faded spots on my hands and arms and sunspots on my face. It is wonderful.

Take a cotton pad and squeeze lemon juice (fresh or from one of those concentrate bottles)add some sugar and give your face a scrubbin'..it is the best facial!! I got that from Kandee Johnson ..look her up on youtube :)

Olive oil is really hydrating for skin or hair. Just use it sparingly on your face or in your hair.
Lemons can also exfoliate elbows and knees, and can be used on your feet!

If you crush up an aspirin tablet, mix it with a little bit of water to make a paste, you can apply it on your face if you have swelling, redness, or acne. It actually works.

Love these tips........I've been patting vegetable oil on my wet face after washing with Ivory bar soap. It seems to "soak in" and leave my skin soft. Before bedtime and every morning before applying makeup.

Kelysa: Don't put any oil on your face. It will clog your pores and cause breakouts. You can always ask at the pharmacy if you have questions about skin products.

love the right from the kitchen ingredients. My toners are made from green tea or botanicals, my facial exfoliate I sometimes use cornmeal, olive oil, sweet almond oil, oatmeal, etc. are all great for the skin.

Baking soda is my new 'thing' in the shower. I love it as a skin exfoliator. It makes my skin so soft and smooth.

Make sure you use Drano regularly in that shower drain, if you are going to be putting that gunk on yourself all the time.........

The skin absorbs toxins and Crisco is not a healthy item to ever have in your home. Virgin Coconut Oil would be a much healthier choice. Look up all the info you can find on it; it's wonderful stuff internally and externally.

I disagree about the crisco being bad. If you can't find anything else it works. Of course it won't work if your skin is oily. My Mother went every day to the nursing home and rubbed my Aunt's skin with Crisco because her skin was so very dry and someone suggested it. Her skin never broke down from lying in bed and the funeral director said he had never seen an old person with such soft skin. Crisco is just vegetable oil.
