Lindsay Lohan has been in the news a lot lately (as well as on Funny or Die), but let's not forget she's launching her self-tanner Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist on Sephora.com today (it's in the actual stores May 1.) The backstory: it contains antioxidant goji berry (and smells like vanilla extract), a portion of the profits go to skin cancer awareness charities-go Lindsay-and it was developed by Lilo and her favorite tanner Lorit Simon.

Allure got our hands on the mist early and I was the designated tester. The results: Pretty good! Sevin Nyne left my skin nicely light brown. There are a few patches of my natural ghost-white here and there, but it's not like I'm a reverse Dalmatian. My only gripes: I did find it hard to keep the spraying even, and when I missed a spot, I didn't feel like I could go over it again without over-browning the surrounding skin. Also, the instructions didn't indicate how long I should let the tanner dry before dressing. Still, the color was good enough that with some practice, this could be my season ticket to a tan.
