Pssst! There's a quiet place on New York City's Upper East Side where women go to make pesky forehead lines vanish. (Hint: It's not the Botox clinic.)
It's Eiji Studio, where owner Eiji Yamane and his stylists give doses of Bangtox.
What's Bangtox, you ask? Yamane's bangs, which cover wrinkles and frame more, ahem, youthful features.
Yamane prefers side-swept styles, because they're flattering against every face shape (blunt bangs can widen round faces), soften features, creating an altogether more youthful feeling than heavy, straight-across bangs.
They also accentuate the positive, so to speak. "Side-swept bangs keep the focus on your eyes," says Cynthia Varon, a senior stylist at Eiji Studio.
But let's face it, bangs are a commitment and they're not for everyone. If you're the latter, Eiji has hand-made clip-on styles.
So, try not to furrow your forehead like that. It's what got us here in the first place.
