Greatest Beauty Advice I've Ever Gotten

It has taken me so long to think of a great subject for this topic. It's so difficult because I get so much great advice every day from reading blogs and websites.
So, I would think the best advice I've ever have gotten is -drum roll, please-

Be true to yourself.

I know this can work in many aspects of your life. But really, think about it in terms of beauty. Ever see that amazing red lipstick on the cover of Vogue? You go out and buy that $15 stick of color to be... disappointed. And even if I go to high-end places like Sephora, I love the way the ladies put the make-up on me and all the free samples, but when I get home I just can't do it.
I think it's because I'm basically uncoordinated. And just not as talented as some of those ladies. Like when I get my haircut and it looks amazing that first day, but afterwards it all goes to crap.
I know I like liquid eyeliner. I like warm browns. Pink cheeks. And chap-stick on my lips. Over the years it has become me. My image. And I have to be true to myself to be happy. Because no matter what I will not have Scarlett Johansson's lips. Or Halle Berry's cheeks. And I'm happy with that.
