Step 1- Start with white nails, no topcoat. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Whirlwind White ($5) here because it's quick-drying and opaque. Don't clean up the edges yet â€" you'll probably get plenty of polish around them, and it's better to wait until your nails are finished and dry to clean it up. less

In homage to one of the most adorable characters ever created, I whipped up this fast and furious Hello Kitty manicure.
