It's such a simple question, but with so many answers. I have friends that spend upwards of $200 on a hair cut, and others who wouldn't fork over more than $20 -- including tip. Me? I don't pay anything (one of the perks of having a mom who's a licensed cosmetologist).
When we asked TotalBeauty.com readers how much they pay for hair cuts, we got a ton of varied responses:
"I've had my hair different lengths and the most I've ever paid for a cut is $20." -- snowbunny
"The most I paid was like $35 at Mario Triccoci. I live in the Chicago suburbs. When I did have a job I was paying about $25 and now that I am laid off I am doing my hair at Hair Cuttery for about $13." -- bunny72
"My haircut costs me around $50, and I have long hair. I keep hearing that they generally charge more for long hair than they would for the same cut on short hair." -- eminatic
"My $90 haircut sucked as much as my $15 cut. So I'm growing my hair out until I find someone that actually listens when I tell them what I want." -- DarklyDreaming
