I Tried it Tuesday: Disco Nails

While working on our recent round-up of spring nail polish colors, I was reminded of a mani I spotted on one of my favorite blogs, fa-lo-me.com, a few months ago-sparkly, gold, disco nails! I've been thinking about them ever since.

In honor of our first "I Tried it Tuesday," I stopped by the drugstore on my way to the office this morning and went on a hunt for gold glitter polish. When I found Sally Hansen Salon Effects Polish Strips in Glitz Blitz, I knew I hit the jackpot. Not only do they automatically give you a thick coat of bling, they don't smell like nail polish. I didn't even have to be stealth as I applied them at my desk.

I've been rocking my disco nails all day, and even though I thought they'd be too much for me, they're surprisingly mellow. Ok, so maybe I wouldn't wear them to a conservative office, but they sure fly at Cosmo! I'm just hoping they last through the weekend-because this major mani calls for a major night of dancing, don't you think?
