Getty ImagesThere's so much pressure on women in the real world to stay in shape and looking svelte--we can't even imagine the demands there are on A-list ladies to look their best. And in Hollywood, "best" often equals thin to an unhealthy or unfair degree. Actress Anne Hatahway says that when award season comes around she often receives designer dresses that are too small for her, and has to send them back to be altered to her size. So basically, the designers are assuming she's a smaller size or would like her to fit that size.
"If designers want to dress me, then I am at the larger end of the Hollywood scale so they have to be fine with that," says Hathaway. In what world would Hathaway be at the larger end of anything? Are we seeing things?! She says, "I think what some designers do is if a dress doesn't fit you because it's been fitted to a size zero model they will remake the dress for you."
Maybe designers should be a little more realistic and forgiving than to make dresses in a size zero. We think Anne looks great! [Showbiz Spy]
