Knowing the world's breathless fascination with Prince George-the newborn son to Prince William and Duchess Kate-as well as our guilty-pleasure interest in Kanye West's self-aggrandizing endeavors, it was only a matter of time before a news outlet melded the transatlantic plotlines into one very special crossover report, the likes of which we find today.

The Sun, a paper more virtuous as a makeshift coaster than as a news source, writes amazingly that Kanye West, eager to share his taste in fashion with the one-week-old heir to the British throne, has shipped Prince George of Cambridge "mini versions of Kanye's [clothing], including skinny jeans and hoodies." (!) Regarding whether royal protocol requires William and Kate to acknowledge this gift of tiny streetwear, an insider tellsThe Sun, "It depends if the Cambridges want to dress him in it."

Some might interpret this report as meaning that Kanye West specially produced miniature versions of the capsule collection he co-designed recently with A.P.C., but we prefer envisioning the rapper pulling pieces from his own closet and requesting that they be duplicated in smaller sizes for the future king. In a Kanye West kind of way, this gift would be really sweet. (Alternative theory: Kanye caught wind of the fact that Duchess Kate is planning to dress George in 19th-century hand-me-down gowns and vowed to get him some more current clothing, stat.) As long as this is not the first step in a master, 30-year plan to woo Prince George into marrying North West one day, we support Kanye and Prince George's Brotherhood of the Traveling Skinny Jeans.
