The Kardashians get a lot of flack for their bajillion business ventures -- including a shoe line, perfumes, and nail polishes, to name a few -- and it kinda seems like they will slap their name on anything that sells. But, we'll admit: the launch of their plus-size denim line, Kardashian Kurves, actually seems pretty kool. Sorry, cool.
The line will be sold in Sears, and in an effort to drum up some extra excitement there is an official contest, where one winner will pose with the Kardashian sisters on an official ad campaign. To enter on Facebook, submit a full-length photo of yourself "along with what being 'kurvy' and 'konfident' means to you." The deadline is July 30.
Sure, it can be argued that the Kardashians are outrageously overexposed, and slapping a "k" in front of all those "c" words drives us nuts, but there is a definite lack of fashionable plus-sized lines out there, particularly denim. And while Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney aren't technically plus-sized themselves, they are famous for their curves, and so this collab actually makes sense.
We love that the plus-sized denim line is all about self-confidence and embracing your curves, and so this business venture is definitely a lot more altruistic than, say, Kim's collab with Midori Melon Liqueur.
What do you think? Do you like the idea of a Kardashian Kurves line?
