Kate Middleton’s First Public Speech: Listen Now

James Whatling / Splash NewsJames Whatling / Splash NewsCatherine, Duchess of Cambridge gave her first public address today-nearly a year after she married Prince William-at EACH's Treehouse Children's Hospice in Ipswich, England, an organization that supports children with life-threatening conditions and their families. She began her speech by thanking the crowd and giving a nod to her royal man, who she said would have loved the facility. "A view of his, that I share, is that through teamwork so much can be achieved," she said. "What you have all achieved here is extraordinary." For her wardrobe choice, she gravitated toward one of her go-to colors, sapphire blue (it matches her ring), and chose double-breasted dress by Reiss. And it looks like she pulled this one out of her closet-according to Kate Middleton Style, the dress dates back to 2008! Watch her entire speech above-she touches her perfectly blown-out chestnut strands once during her two-and-a-half minute talk-and tell us what you think in the comments!
