Kim Kardashian: Her Botox Controversy

When Kim Kardashian let her reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, film her getting Botox, people freaked out. One of the people freaking out was Kim. "... Because this was the first time I had done anything like this, I freaked out," she said on her blog; she hadn't expected the bruising she got around her eyes.

The general public seemed more concerned, though, that a drop-dead-gorgeous 29-year-old would get cosmetic Botox in the first place. It reminded me of Charice, the 18-year-old Filipino singer who caused an uproar by getting Botox to "look fresh" for her guest spot on Glee this season. Kardashian sounds like she wouldn't be getting another round of injections anytime soon, saying, "I think when you're young there are other ways you can look after your skin...Botox just wasn't necessary for me at this age." Well, right.
