Lady Gaga thinks celebs should never look casual

Getty ImagesLady Gaga has become known as much for her outlandish avant-guard attire as she is for her music. In fact many people would consider her day-to-day clothing to be straight up costumes, but Gaga prefers it that way. "I think you should look nice all the time," she says. "When I meet celebrities and they're in casual clothes, I'm always like: 'Whaaat?' I don't mean to be judgmental, but it would do them better to be who they really are, all the time."

But what if they actually are casual people who only dress to the nines for red carpet events and premieres? Are we to believe that Gaga never goes out on a Starbucks run in sweatpants like Britney Spears? Hmm, come to think of it, we never have seen Gaga in casual clothes!

"This is really who I am all the time," says Gaga. "When I get out of a car and there are 30 fans waiting for me, I know I'm dressed the way I should be. There's a reason they have that emotional reaction."

Maybe there's something to that, but we kind of like seeing photos of stars dressed down. It makes them seem real! Besides, do we really need thousands of celebrities dressed outrageously like Lady Gaga? That might be a sensory overload. [OK]
