Even though the Grammys are in a little under two months, it still feels like eons away. After all, the awards show will take place on January 28, 2014-that's an entirely different year! In the meantime though, there's something with way more instant gratification to look forward to: the annual Grammy Awards Nominations Concert special, taking place this Friday in Los Angeles (and on your TV!).

This year's nominees will be announced at the big event, but that's not the only reason to tune in. Far from it, actually! The performance lineup is so bonkers, we can't even imagine what the actual awards show holds for us. Drake is headlining, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are taking over the stage, too. Robin Thicke is set to sing the ubiquitous "Blurred Lines," but instead of collabing with Miley again (because we all know how that turned out), he's teaming up with T.I. and Earth, Wind & Fire. Equally awesome: Miguel, Keith Urban, and R&B legend Bill Withers are crooning the '70s classic "Ain't No Sunshine." The show will also feature performances from Taylor Swift and Katy Perry that are pre-taped, which feels like a bit of a bummer-except it's all the same when we're watching from home anyway.

Buuuuuut that's not all! It was just announced today that Lorde's performing, and since she just dropped her brand-new music video yesterday-and because we're always down for a headline-grabbing performance-we're hoping for a "Royals"/"Team" medley. So flip the channel to CBS on Friday at 10p.m. EST to see if Lorde answers our prayers.
