People, unless you're doing your best impression of Napoleon "But my lips hurt real bad!" Dynamite, there's no reason to obsessively apply lip balm. If the stuff is good, a little dab will do ya.
Case in point: my new fave Orlane Extreme Line-Reducing Lip Care. Pump the teeniest drop of Orlane's Lip Care onto your fingertip (seriously, it should be no bigger than the size of a Pop Rock) and massage the potion into your lips.
It'll feel well, weird. This product goes on like lotion and if you take a whiff, you'll notice that it smells like Orlane's pricey face creams. Your parched lips will soak up the cream and they'll feel hydrated yet completely dry to the touch. (See, I told you it was weird.)
All that's very nice, but this product also helps fade vertical lines, which to me, is everything. It makes lipstick look so much better because the color won't go slipping and sliding all over the place, and it won't go on sheer because of what lies underneath. A good lip product shouldn't compromise your look, don't you agree?
