I admit, when it comes to clothes I am not an impulse shopper. As a matter of fact, I kind of prefer to shop alone because I can spend hours going from store to store only to come out with a few items. I guess I have this fear of buyers remorse - I don't want to get something only to hate it once I get home. So if I see something and I'm still in love with it 30 minutes later (and the price is right) it goes with me. With this cardigan, however, it was love at first sight.

I saw it on New York and Company's website the day before Black Friday and I literally had a fashion bloggers OMG moment in front of my laptop. I don't know if it's the colors that got me first or the cool flutter layer action in the front but I had to have it! When I went into the store the next day I went straight to the rack and didn't think twice! (Plus the entire store was 60% off! Oh yeah!)

It's my first time wearing it. You know you like save your favorite items for special days! ;) The Hubby's job is having a holiday dinner after work today so....today qualifies as a special day! This cardigan is as comfy as it looks and keeps me warm enough not to melt in the Floridian winter, especially when I layered it over this short sleeve shirt.

Did I also mention that my pants collection has been taken over by New York and Company? They are the only store where I can buy their pants and not have to try them on. Their City Knit pants fit me perfectly,are super comfortable, and perfect for the office. I'm pretty sure I have all of them by now (those sales get me every time!)

Can we give my husband a round of applause for taking this pictures for me early this morning? I told him that I might have to make him my photographer boyfriend ( I think he wouldn't mind that...right??)
