The Mission: Give Abbie Cornish a fresh and pretty beauty look for Chanel's dinner in support of the Tribeca Film Festival Artists Awards Program at the Odeon last night.
The Makeup Artist: Jeanine Lobell for Chanel Beauty.
The Face: Lobell used a minimal base, choosing to focus her energies on Cornish's cheeks. A concentrated dose of Chanel Rose Dust Powder Blush really showcases the way Cornish's apples light up when she smiles.
The Eyes: To bring out her green peepers, Lobell went with a purple liner, Chanel's Eye Definer pen in Violet Smoke, brushing a few coats of its Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Magic Night-a deep brownish plum-across her lids. Multiple slashings of Chanel's Inimitable Mascara in Noir, on both the upper and lower lash line, helped make Cornish's eyes "pop."
The Lip: Peter Philips' much-discussed new Rouge Coco Lipstick line made yet another red-carpet showing here, as Lobell reached for its Organdi Rose shade, a shimmering pink that added a little oomph to Cornish's natural lip color.
The Result: Selma Blair, Kristen Bell, and Zoë Kravitz were also there, but all eyes were on Cornish. With rumors swirling that she has moved on from Ryan Phillippe to Josh Hartnett, inquiring minds want to know, well, everything.
