Jimmy James is a fabulous force to be reckoned with. He is a recording artist with a hit single, "Fashionista," burning up the dance charts on iTunes.
He also happens to be a world class impressionist with a celebrity-studded roster that includes Cher, Barbara Streisand and Britney Spears to name a few. However he is most known for his decade-long visual and vocal impersonation of Marilyn Monroe, considered uncanny and unrivaled by anyone ever, male or female. While he has since retired Marilyn, we tapped into her to share some amazing every day makeup secrets:
1. Sable brown pencil and a black pencil.
Sable brown or a rich brown pencil that is appropriate for the shade of your skin. Over all a brown pencil can boost your brows, line your eyes and even smudge a little on to your lips ever so lightly (but NO hard lines on the lips). The black pencil to add to the brown around the eyes just a touch depending on your skin shade.
2. Basic glossy lip balm.
Works as a demure gloss while keeping your lips moist especially inside those air condition or heated offices. Kiehl's makes several different ones.
Or: ChapStick 100% Naturals.
3. Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder with SPF 15.
Several skin shades. I love her foundations. They're very fine and natural and never feel cakey.
4. Lash Out Mascara by L'Oreal.
5. Bronzer.
You can use this for cheeks, lids, lips etc...you can contour your whole face with it and it gives a good illusion of good health especially under those ugly florescent office lights. MAC has great bronzers.
