Michelle Obama may go glam in designer gowns for formal occasions, but we love the first lady for her accessible, day-to-day style. (J.Crew separates, affordable Target shifts, and $35 H&M dresses? Yes, please!)

On Friday, Obama left for Camp David with the president wearing a blue-patterned dress from the Gap. We tracked the garment down online, and it's actually still available and on sale. The "Impressionist Print Draped Dress" is $29.99 on Gap.com. Of course, the first lady marches to her own fashion beat, so she rocked the dress as a tunic, paired with white pants, black sandals, and a lime green Lambertson Truex tote bag. (The bag company went bankrupt in 2009, so you'll have to check eBay for that).

The first lady is clearly a fan of the Gap. Obama publicly wore a printed Gap sundress back in 2009 as well as a $10 striped Gap t-shirt and matching $25 floral Gap cardigan (pictured at right) when she met with former first lady Nancy Reagan the same year.

Do you prefer seeing first lady Michelle Obama looking fancy and polished for formal events or in everyday clothes many women can afford?
