Miley Cyrus's total domination of the music world has involved a whole lot of cool looks along the way, and now she's reached a fashion apex with her latest coup: The 21-year-old just landed a Marc Jacobs campaign.
We're totally not surprised given Miley and Marc are best buds. He dressed her to punky perfection for the Met Ball last year, and she posed for one of his "Protect the Skin You're In" tees. The mutual admiration is even evident in Miley's Instagram-needless to say, the pop star's in the midst of a major Marc moment.
So about that new campaign: It's styled and shot to flawless moody broodiness on a dark beach, which is certainly a departure for the designer, who's usually more into minimalist backgrounds and liberal use of flash. It also nicely references the spring runway set in all its sandy goth glory.
The David Sims-lensed campaign is rolling out in mags now, but check out this sneak peek from Miley in meantime:
