Mixing Seasons: Spring Shorts with Winter Tights

I can't keep up with the weather in New York. One second it's 60 degrees and the next it's back down to 20! How on earth is my wardrobe supposed to manage!?

I've just about had it with all of my winter clothing, and am beyond ready to trade in my bulky jackets for cotton peacoats and wooly trousers for thigh-grazing shorts. However, since it's still pretty cold out, I settled for a mix of both winter and spring apparel, pairing one of my favorite pairs of vintage shorts with a warm sweater and tights.

While this isn't an everyday go-to outfit, it certainly satisfied my craving for warm weather clothing, and I can't wait to try out other pairs of shorts with different colored tights and sweaters.
