    The best actress winner wore the most show-stopping gown of the evening: this white, Dior Haute Couture gown. The full skirt is stunning without being too princessy, and balances out the fitted top. We love that Lawrence kept the styling simple with just a long chain of Chopard diamonds cascading down her back. Yay, Jennifer! What a night!

    It's finally here! The Oscars! The red carpet superbowl! Yes, there were loads of beautiful, ultra-sparkly gowns, millions of dollars of jewels, and perfectly crafted updos. But there were also a lot of boring, tacky, and uninspired gowns. There was also an abundance of white dresses, a polarizing hue that made some actresses look like stunning angels and others look completely washed out.
